Pretty Rubbish's Background:
By re-interpreting the 1940's concept of 'make do and mend' their outlook on creative adventure is to inspire people to re-use and re-make and to enjoy the creative process showing the community that textiles "isn't just about doileys and curtains" and can be fun, exciting and as experimental and creative as any other artistic activity. They both studied Textile Design at Falmouth University Graduating in 2008 specialising in sustainable mixed media fashion accessories.

The Wear-house is an innovative group shop displaying over 3 floors of decorative interiors and antiques, vintage cloth, clothing and curtains. Toria has been awarded the h.Art bursary which will give us great publicity for the open studio and exhibition held at our workshop- Saturday 11th September- Sunday 19th 2010.
